Im August ist es heiß, keine Frage. Ab 7 Uhr brennt die Sonne auf diesen Traum aus hellem Stein, das Licht blendet, ohne Sonnenbrille ist man fast blind. Um 9 Uhr hat es bereits 32 Grad, die Stadt liegt verwaist in der Sonnenglut, viele Läden und Bars sind geschlossen.
Aber ab Nachmittags ziehen leichte Wolkenschleier auf, ein kühlender Wind weht, und die Stadt erwacht.

Fa caldo ad agosto, non c'è dubbio. Dalle 7 del mattino il sole brucia su questo sogno di pietra brillante, la luce abbaglia, senza occhiali da sole sei quasi cieco. Alle 9 del mattino è già a 32 gradi, la città è orfana al sole, molti negozi e bar sono chiusi.
Ma nel pomeriggio, nuvole leggere si alzano, soffia un vento rinfrescante e la città si risveglia.
